Sculpture Key West is honored to have Nance Frank and Vera Vasek speak about the installations of international artist's William Thompson and Gereon Krebber on Higgs Beach. Nance Frank is the owner of Gallery on Greene in Key West and exhibits work by William Thompson. Vera Vasek, sculptor and past Executive Director of SKW has exhibited widely and was the guiding spirit behind Gereon Krebber's installation.
An after party at Salute on HIggs Beach follows the talk, featuring photos and videos of Sculpture Key West 2012/13.
William Thompson was born in Hudson, NY in 1966 and received a B.A. From Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Thompson currently lives in the Virgin Islands. He also exhibits locally in Gallery on Greene here in Key West. Gereon Krebber, born in1973 in Oberhausen, Germany, received his Master of Fine Art in Sculpture at the Royal College of Art in London and currently works and lives in Cologne, Germany.
